This is how a heart breaks

Because my heart is breaking. Nolan's heart is breaking.

And relax we have not broken up...I can already feel the comments window overflowing with concern.

There is another situation brewing amongst our close friends that is Not Good. Details saved for person to person contact, regardless I hurt for the pain I am seeing people put through. Throughly needlessly in my opinion, though of course no one asked me. I am just so incredibly mad at the callous way in which people I love are being treated.

Argh! The worst part is, there isn't a damn thing I can do to help, and we all know how well I do in those situations.

In other news, I am finally recovering from what I can only describe as a hellacious cold that doesn't really seem to want to go away. Fortunately for all involved I am back to feeling semi-human, though this means I need to catch up on all the work that slipped by because I was too sick to do anything about it.

Oh well. Back to real life...or maybe a nap first and there is all this tivo to catch up on...
