What to do When the Substitute is Sick

I'm subbing in the hometown for a few days - which was expected, I'd
agreed to do this months ago (one of the teachers is at a conference in
San Francisco for 4 or 5 days). So of course I'm sick during all of
this. That's right - the substitute teacher is sick. Delicious, I know.

Note - attempting to teach Hardy-Weinburg through a stuffy head and
medication is not conducive to good learning. I think I just confused
the poor children more. Sad really.

Looking forward to getting some rest tonight and during the rest of the
weekend. It will be good. :)

Enjoying the subbing for the most part - really I'm not having to do that
much. Just generally make sure the kids maintain some sense of order.
Showing a video in one class and just keeping the kids on task in the
others. One study hall - I have my book so I'm not bored.

Speaking of which...I need some suggestions for summer reading. I've
been wandering the library lost and confused with no direction at all.
People I need books to read!! Sci-fi/fantasy is good, mystery i can deal
with, suspense, romance, you name it. As long as it is engaging I'm
happy. So, see the comments button down here? Click it. And start
typing in titles...I read quickly so I need a large list to keep me
occupied!

Later! :)
