...and I can't believe I just quoted Britney Spears. Another perfectly good phrase ruined by a rather annoying pop princess. Oy.
Nevertheless, I looked up and I had let just about a month go by without posting an entry. Oops indeed. I really didn't mean to do that. Just got a little busy I suppose.
I got my new baby yesterday. I don't think I ever posted it...actually I know I didn't cause I just checked the archives. Anyway - I bought one last July - and then realized I needed the left-handed version. Which really I knew from the beginning, but I let other people talk me out of it, because I couldn't explain why I knew that I needed the lefty model. In case you're interested - it turns out you can't keep the beat with your weaker hand - it needs to be your dominant hand. Heh. Who knew? Well I did, but to all you right-handed freaks out there, now you know too.
Holding it sorta wigged out Dan and Ehren. They had to play it upside down and backwards. I just laugh - now they know why I was always uncomfortable with their stuff. :)
Course I get it when I have 110 exam papers to grade. Yikes, this is going to be an interesting weekend. Oh well - at least next week is going to be super short!
I was just browsing through old archives, and realized that there was a lot more in this sucker than I remembered. I've had it for less than a year at this point, so it's kinda cool. Also that I occasionally say some kinda cool stuff.
I spent some time on my trip to SF last March. You know, I want that feeling again. So whether it's going to SF, or to LA or going somewhere, I think I'm going to have to engineer a trip sometime. Maybe February or April break? I'd love to go with friends, but to do that I'd need them to miss school and/or work. And that just bites. Grr. Somebody have a long weekend around to go down to DC? Maybe over Christmas? Karen - you and me to Cali sometime, definately.
I have, much to my roommate's annoyance discovered a new philosophy on life, based on the book: He's Just Not That Into You - ladies read this book. Men, read this book. Damnit it's a GREAT FUCKING book.
OK, I'm tired - I have more to say but more importantly papers to grade...I'll be back.
